Family management

  • Simplified access to the Sofy patient portal for families and dependents!
    • Parents can access the Sofy accounts of their children under 14 if the clinic gives them access.
    • For people over the age of 14, there is also the option of delegating access to a guardian (e.g., for incapacitated persons or seniors).
  • The parent's HIN can be entered in a child's file without having to select a file (in cases where the parent does not have a file in the clinic)
  • See who a patient's children and dependents are, directly from the patient's file. This feature is useful for tracing family members!
  • The "Mother" and "Father" fields have been renamed "Parent 1" and "Parent 2".

BMI: enter weight only

  • If a height has already been entered in the file since the patient is 20 years old, the BMI is automatically calculated after entering the weight!

RAMQ billing

With Xacte, FMP, facturation.net, MultiD, DBS

  • If the patient does not have a HIN, the billing chit will still open.
  • The parent's HIN is used for newborns without HIN.

Two-factor authentication

  • You can activate the two-factor authentication to secure your account

Hub appointment confirmation

This only concerns clinicians connected to the Hub

  • In Ofys, the appointment now shows when the confirmation has been sent by Sofy Hub, and the patient can confirm his or her presence. The appt status changes accordingly.
  • A telephone icon is displayed in front of the patient's name if the Hub's service is by phone.
  • From now on, all appointments will only be confirmed by the Hub: so make sure you configure all your services correctly!

Ofys Pro scanning: centralized and efficient

  • In the scanning tab, the user can view the list of documents they have scanned, see the total per day, and correct errors there.
  • From there, it is also possible to send the document to another professional or remove it from someone's inbox, e.g. if it has been sent to them by mistake.
  • Several fixes and small additions to Ofys Pro's scanning module.

Patient file: a few changes

  • If an alert is entered in a patient's demographic file, in Ofys Pro a red exclamation mark appears after the patient's name in the schedule and in the patient's file.
  • Addition of the "Sensitive file" checkbox in the Ofys Pro demographic file to restrict access to the patient's file to the treating professional only (this feature was available via the old interface).
  • When a file is deactivated or a death is indicated in Ofys Pro, the system offers to automatically cancel future appointments and reminders.
  • When an appointment is given via the patient file, the search allows you to change professionals.

Tasks

  • When you assign a task to another user, it automatically disappears from your inbox as soon as you click "Ok".

Synchronization and RAMQ registration

  • The procedure was highly optimized!
  • RAMQ synchronization will be done every night instead of every 6 days, for all our users. Your RAMQ data will therefore be updated every night.
  • RAMQ registration can now be completed via Ofys Pro when changing physician or category.

Documents and results

  • Optimization of document storage and the way they are sent to the user's computer, leading to greater server resilience when hundreds of documents are read simultaneously.
  • It is now possible to transfer a document to another professional's results inbox! Simply click on this icon and select a professional. The result will show up in their inbox.

  • Modifications to facilitate the reading of certain lab results.

Security and performance

  • New switch adding new options to protect your data from hackers.
  • New Ofys server installed last month with 50% more performance than the previous one.
  • We're leaving no stone unturned to maintain Ofys' speed while supporting our growth!

Data extraction from forms

  • A new procedure allows the extraction in a structured format of the data entered in forms, enabling us to launch queries on forms and create new ones as required. This structured format will also make it possible to extract data entered for use elsewhere in Ofys.

Enhanced security for the account that manages users

  • The next password for the account ‘gestionutilisateurs’ will have to be at least 12 characters long, and must include at least one number, one upper case letter, one lower case letter and one special character.
  • Two-factor authentication may become mandatory for this account (this is a new certification criterion).

Email notification of password change

  • An e-mail notification is sent to the user whose password has been changed (by them or by the account 'gestionutilisateurs’), if the user's e-mail address is registered in their Ofys profile.
  • An e-mail notification is sent to the person managing the account ‘gestionutilisateurs’ when they change a user's password.

Other

  • When we copy-paste an appointment, the patient status and appointment status are not copied (they revert to "Normal" and "None").
  • In the professional files in Ofys Pro, the button "Search for the professional in the DSQ" has been added for the DSQ resolution.
  • Sofy: Terms of use and a Privacy policy have been added for the Hub and the patient portal registration.
  • The address search has been improved in Ofys Pro.
  • The color of appointment statuses "Confirmation request sent by text message" and "Confirmed by text message" in Ofys Pro is now the one that is configured in the clinic preferences (rather than always blue).
  • The Hub service is now visible more quickly in the appointment information, under the appointment type.
  • In the appointment reminder lists in Ofys Pro, the patient’s cellphone number is now displayed.
  • Several fixes and small additions to the Ofys Pro schedule.
