4. Add your date of birth at the top (section at the right of your name). In the section « Professional », completely remove your Professional Code. Then, click « Search for the professional in the QHR ». You will have to enter your DSQ password in the window that pops up.

It should say ‘Success' and ask if you want to import the professional from the DSQ. Click Yes.

5. Put your Professional Code back in as it was (NB: if you receive electronic lab results, it is important to enter the licence number that is used for your registration to this service).

Your DSQ is connected!

Checking the alias

If you get an error saying that the alias is not found in the registry, it could be that the alias you entered in the preferences is wrong. The alias is the name under which you are registered at DSQ; it must be spelled the same way, including capitalization.

Here's how to know your alias:

  1. Insert your key into the computer.
  2. In the Windows search, type certmgr.msc, then press Enter.
  3. In the window that opens, double-click on Personal, then on Certificates. The way your name is written there is your alias.
  4. If your name does not appear there, the key is not being read by your computer. There are several reasons for this: faulty USB port, faulty DSQ key, Windows session configuration problem, etc.
  5. Remove the key and put it back (if you have closed Ofys in the meantime, you must always remove and put back the key).
